Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle designThis guest room is right off the familyroom. Its actually staged for this photoshoot with furnishings and accessories from my studio stock inventory. The paint color was so dramatic in a warm charcoal grey called "Intellectual" by BEHR. The botanical art is all original oil on paper of three juicy color roses, the hand painted wood & leather chairs are from Ecuador with a custom iron bistro table and the rest of the furniture, accessories and lamps are from fabulous vintage shopping sprees in New Orleans, Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Rachel BlindauerThe client obtained a 1950's home that was stuck in the 70's. It had crunchy plaid orange carpet, yellow brick fireplace and knotty pine paneling everywhere. When we came together on this interior project I wanted to play up the rustic masculinity of wrought iron in the space which would complement the existing iron fireplace hooks. We used an iron fireplace cover, iron drapery rods and rings, and two black height adjustable wall lamps that I had previously product developed on either side of the bed. We then added Danish Modern furniture and drapes to create formality. The knotty pine walls were painted to make the Danish Modern furniture stand out. This allowed the color of the ceiling to be reflected in the bedding and in the commissioned art. To fix the dirty yellow bricks we stained them grey with multiple layers of transparent concrete stain, then stained the hearth bricks black.

Conestoga TileThis porcelain tile (manufactured by Vallelunga) is to mimic real wood planks. A great product for this beach house which receives it's fair share of sand on the floors. A great alternative to wood.

Dupuis DesignThis room was totally transformed, we took off the thick rug,and replaced it with white engineered floors (easy to clean, strong and less acariens), transformed the color ceiling to floor into white, made better directional ceiling lights (led lights), added a bit of charm to the ceiling with a porcelain chandelier, she needed more closet space so I designed and made to order cupboards with pull down hanging racks above her bed and installed her work desk just below it as well, using this big wall saved space and gave room to welcome a chesterfield sofa that she wished for. As you walk into this room the mondrian style I've given on the cupboards and desk made it more exciting. The turquoise linen from Ikea, the ottoman from Z gallerie and the cowhide rug on the floor gave this room more depth.
