FRONT ENTRY
The steps, pilasters, retaining walls, raised planters and flat surfaces used castaic brick. Color: Sunset Red with matte texture. The flat areas (walks and landings) incorporated a basket weave pattern. The vertical surfaces used a running bond pattern. The softscape rimming the exterior called for prunable plantings characterized by a more formal look while the interior plantings within the raised planters were allowed a free-form growth pattern.
