Where the new walk in pantry is now located was a simple two foot deep cupboard. The top cabinets were trimmed down to fit over the refrigerator. The wood was lightly sanded and new Early American stain was wiped on to refresh the wood, followed by a coat of Zar satin polyurethane. The larger pantry doors were then affixed to a set of hollow oak bi-folds, re-stained, wood filled and poly coated. The new chair rail was stained to match the cabinets.
