This three-story home was built to blend into an established neighborhood that was developed in the 1920’s. “One of my main design goals was to see how far I could go in terms of energy efficiency and specifically a LEED® rating, while adhering to a very challenging completion schedule and budget,” said architect Kirsten Thoft. As a result, Thoft began searching for windows and doors with excellent energy-efficiency ratings, undivided glass and a sleek, dark bronze exterior that could fit the project budget.
