Traditional Estate Garden
With approximately 40 mature shade trees on the property maintaining a dense, formal lawn and a pristine pool requires extra effort. Removing tree litter is a constant task and the tree roots compete with the lawn for moisture in some areas more than others. Some areas of lawn are more shaded than others but consistency in color and thickness are integral to the symmetry. The lawn is cut with all push-mowers but around the containers on both sides of the pool the lawn must be clipped by hand so as not to damage the containers which are too heavy to be moved. Grass clippings and other debris must be kept away from the pool.
