Imagine in this picture that the refrigerator used to be located to the right of the now larger stove unit. The previous shorter island is now multi functional at an extended length of nearly eight feet. A cozy breakfast space at the end is a cantilevered quartz that matches the other counter tops but rests on top of darker cabinets that work well with the earth tones in the back splash design.
