I love the quiet feeling of this Kitchen. Look at how area behind sink was treated.
Uppers are divided at cabinet height over hood. Nice break in an otherwise to large of wood expanse.
Simplified cabinetry has a quiet and calm feeling.
Higher window opening for back splash to protect wood from water damage. Pendant lights over sink area. I feel this would be a nice touch to the Kitchen.
Toe kick detail. Solid cabinet side gives finished touch. We will want the drawers to be flush to the cabinet side and not proud. Otherwise, we will be able to see glide hardware.
Nice detail to corner of cabinet. This is a good example of many surfaces and materials coming together at the termination of a counter top and a wall opening. You have this condition when at the entry to your Kitchen. We will want to keep a close eye on everything coming together well at this location.
IKEA VG Fir doors RENU series. Unhinged Custom Doors.
These windows are set a little bit higher than yours so that there is a taller back splash.
Vertical grain fir cabinets with horizontal grain. This type of pattern match is sometimes complicated with veneer because of the size of sheets. Also, you need to be educated and advised to how much pattern match you can expect and how much variability you will need to tolerate.
Good example of fir window trim at corner window. Look at sill; this is what is called an extended sill. You can use it to hold small bowls or accessories. In your Kitchen area, the sill might be nice but we will definitely want to consider using the granite instead of the fir. You can also use a product that is similar in color tone to the fir if you don't want to break the line (quartz would be the best option). I am concerned about the the area underneath the sill and the counter top. There isn't enough room to practically mount the receptacles.
