Near bridge nice, but maybe something different where the “v” is. Far bridge is too reminiscent of Japanese? sunburst flag.

Cottage door. Also gutter & rain chain.

Cottage door, mostly the color.

Spiral. Bridge.

Adorable bridge

Q

Bridge, but different Xes.

Q

Bridge, need hand rail?

Q

Left side, but a freestanding pavilion w/ kitchen

Q

Quirky!

Q

Love the (grape?) arbor. Like, but don’t quite love, the arrangement of grasses.

Q

Foto

I don’t love the way they look, but I do like that the edge can be a seat.

Q

Foto

Ceiling beams in a pavilion.

Q

Foto

Archway.

Q

Foto

The wooden gate is a nice shape.

Q

Foto

If these work well, something like this for food gardening might be good. Not if they’re just trendy, though.

Q

Foto

Glass roof, but would need shade in summer, & ability to clean off leaves, etc. I like that it has hanging lights, but they could have done a better job of incorporating them. Like the paving, but needs to be level.

Q

Foto

Reclaimed bricks, little side lantern (low, by grill).

Q

Foto

Nice arch; nice roses.

Q

I like this, but it looks newly planted. I dislike seeing all the mulch, now, & might not like what happens when the plants fill out later. (I can see it becoming overgrown or high-maintenance.) There need to be taller shrubs or something built in the curves of the path so the path is curving around something, & not just wavering back & forth for no reason. I love moss between & on stone (& brick), but this moss is possibly too bright & definitely too tall & clumpy.

Q

Foto

Something about the row of clerestory windows.

Q

Foto

The way the slabs appear to break loose & float away. Note the the loose slabs are smaller, to allow lines to remain straight.

Q

Foto

Roof/ceiling shape for outdoor spaces. It looks expensive, though.

Q

Foto

IDK, just like it.

Q

Foto

Vines growing into a shelter.

Q

Foto

Arched door surrounded by greenery

Q

Foto

Pavilion. Also the fountains coming straight out of the paving.

Q

Foto

Asymmetrical “Tudor” roofline. Arched doors. Paving & wall are different, but harmonious.

Q

Foto

Love the look & tiny, but still functional, proportions. Don’t know where or for what purpose.

Q

Foto

Gateway & enclosed garden. Around shed (to pretend it’s prettier than it is)?

Q

Foto

If having exposed plumbing, consider adding some gauges and dials for fun; maybe a working thermometer.

Q

Foto

Overall look, but also the brick paving & raised planter/ledge

Q

Foto

Irregular edge to the paving area looks usable but casual. Meandering path w/ lots of greenery.

Q

Foto

Style of gate, though not that exact one, and one-piece stone pillars.

Q

Foto

I’m not sure; there’s something about it I like.

Q

Foto

Outdoor gallery wall; decorative but incorporates useful hooks & shelves.

Q

Foto

Ceiling

Q

Foto

Arches. Also love the olive tree, but . . .

Q

Foto

Stone wall (dry?); pillars & arch.

Q

Foto

Swing as seating. Style of swing back. Prefer something comfortable w/out cushions, or under cover.

Q

Foto

Love the shades purple & green. Like the stone path w/ green between stones.

Q

Foto

Shady, moist, mysterious looking. Needs ground cover between the stones.

Q

Foto

Roof waterfall. But not the style of the pavilion.

Q

Foto

Exposed, rustic looking pipes. Wall hook & seat. Foot washer. I like the open top for sunshine, but not if it’s going to fill up with leaves & acorns.

Q

Foto

Something like this to block neighbors’ light, but I don’t love this particular look.

Q

Foto

All the different greens. Grass path. Gate.

Q

Foto

Love Moon Gates. I think we could get away with the rusty look here, but in a country/Texas way, not a Japanese way.

Q

Foto

Squared stone walls; not so much the natural stone accent.

Q

Foto

Deck wraps around tree, extends over hillside. Consider doing this (maybe roofed) out over floodplain.

Q

Foto

Love this “greenhouse” over the pool, but suspect it would be difficult & expensive.

Q

Foto

The shape of the path & the summerhouse. All the greens, but not so much that exact pink (though I’m sure would be nice mixed w/ other colors).

Q

Foto

Love the swirl pattern. Really dislike all the severe straight lines around it.

Q

Foto

This type of pavilion is what I was thinking of (but not loving) for our roofed areas. It looks a bit too much like the ones in public parks — especially if you remove the fireplace, which I think we don’t need. I’d like at least a little more style; would not object to a lot more.

Q

Foto

Could have a stool instead of a built-in bench.

Q

Foto

Love tulips; do they grow here? I like the look of the boxes but can’t tell what they are made out of.

Q

Foto

Wall

Q

Foto

Do we want more water fountaining?

Q

Foto

Arches

Q

Foto

Nice wall

Q

Foto

I like this path, but the edge stones seem out of proportion w/ the center cobblestones. Nice curve.

Q

Foto

Like the gate, but might like it more if the opening was round instead of oval. I like the climbing pink flowering plants.
