Garden
I like this, but it looks newly planted. I dislike seeing all the mulch, now, & might not like what happens when the plants fill out later. (I can see it becoming overgrown or high-maintenance.) There need to be taller shrubs or something built in the curves of the path so the path is curving around something, & not just wavering back & forth for no reason. I love moss between & on stone (& brick), but this moss is possibly too bright & definitely too tall & clumpy.
Pavilion. Also the fountains coming straight out of the paving.
Asymmetrical “Tudor” roofline. Arched doors. Paving & wall are different, but harmonious.
Love the look & tiny, but still functional, proportions. Don’t know where or for what purpose.
Gateway & enclosed garden. Around shed (to pretend it’s prettier than it is)?
If having exposed plumbing, consider adding some gauges and dials for fun; maybe a working thermometer.
Overall look, but also the brick paving & raised planter/ledge
Irregular edge to the paving area looks usable but casual. Meandering path w/ lots of greenery.
Style of gate, though not that exact one, and one-piece stone pillars.
I’m not sure; there’s something about it I like.
Outdoor gallery wall; decorative but incorporates useful hooks & shelves.
Ceiling
Arches. Also love the olive tree, but . . .
Stone wall (dry?); pillars & arch.
Swing as seating. Style of swing back. Prefer something comfortable w/out cushions, or under cover.
Love the shades purple & green. Like the stone path w/ green between stones.
Shady, moist, mysterious looking. Needs ground cover between the stones.
Roof waterfall. But not the style of the pavilion.
Exposed, rustic looking pipes. Wall hook & seat. Foot washer. I like the open top for sunshine, but not if it’s going to fill up with leaves & acorns.
Something like this to block neighbors’ light, but I don’t love this particular look.
All the different greens. Grass path. Gate.
Love Moon Gates. I think we could get away with the rusty look here, but in a country/Texas way, not a Japanese way.
Squared stone walls; not so much the natural stone accent.
Deck wraps around tree, extends over hillside. Consider doing this (maybe roofed) out over floodplain.
Love this “greenhouse” over the pool, but suspect it would be difficult & expensive.
The shape of the path & the summerhouse. All the greens, but not so much that exact pink (though I’m sure would be nice mixed w/ other colors).
Love the swirl pattern. Really dislike all the severe straight lines around it.
This type of pavilion is what I was thinking of (but not loving) for our roofed areas. It looks a bit too much like the ones in public parks — especially if you remove the fireplace, which I think we don’t need. I’d like at least a little more style; would not object to a lot more.
Could have a stool instead of a built-in bench.
Love tulips; do they grow here? I like the look of the boxes but can’t tell what they are made out of.
Wall
Do we want more water fountaining?
Arches
Nice wall
I like this path, but the edge stones seem out of proportion w/ the center cobblestones. Nice curve.
Like the gate, but might like it more if the opening was round instead of oval. I like the climbing pink flowering plants.
Near bridge nice, but maybe something different where the “v” is. Far bridge is too reminiscent of Japanese? sunburst flag.
