If you are looking for a porcelain tile in similar look, you might like these tiles: http://tiledaily.com/2012/03/05/cement-porcelain-tile-light-grey/ http://tiledaily.com/2011/12/09/quartz-vein-porcelain-tile-dark-series/ http://tiledaily.com/2013/02/27/earth-stone-porcelain-tile-6-colors/

Lexington Grey Antigua - came from ASN in San francisco - google them - and if you call ask for Holly. The exact stone is no longer available through ASN - there were problems with the quarry in China but they have a very similar one. The only difference is that the tiles appear to be largely in the blue grey range that you can see in this floor without the warmer brown pieces. YOu need a really good clear sealer - we learned this the hard way. but really nice material and great as an indoor outdoor choice,

drying rack above the sink - if elsewhere, make sure there's a drain. Also, If you are building the room from scratch, install batt insulation in the walls to reduce noise. Since the WD will be close to LR, remember to do this.

like the rack above the WD. Also, To make the task of moving wet laundry into the dryer easier, make sure that the washer and dryer are installed so the door swing on each is opposite, and that the door of the dryer doesn't get in the way as you toss clothes from one to the other.

swinging door from entry to laundry? Keeps it always closed

Take a look at this gray-green slate tile from alibaba.com: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/313462447/flooring_slate_tile_green_.html 12 months ago · Like Laura Ross We have tile very similar -if not exact- from Daltile. From the City View line, the color is either Downtown Nite or Neighborhood park. Love the look, great for hiding dirt!

Q

swinging doors is a great idea if they block noise- The closer your laundry room is to the rest of your house, the more sound will be an issue. If you are building the room from scratch, install batt insulation in the walls to reduce noise. These are heavy appliances that move around a lot
