Back Splashes
This didn't come together. I can see where they were trying to go, but it doesn't work for me.
Counter tops and tile more the same color...not particularly pretty though...ho hum traditional.
Tile and counter tops are too different-this would be a mistake in my opinion.
I like the size of this tile-same kitchen as previous one. I like the look.
Love this look...the size of the tiles...I believe it makes it more transitional...Could we find a neutral to work? It needs to be a bit warm...but I don't want gold.

I like this tile...would silver work with the granite? Or is it too cool with what is currently in the kitchen...granite, cherry, etc.
This is also a very cool kitchen. I love the colors. I believe we have a wining color for the new cabinets...metallic...not too gold, but warm. How can we pull it all together? This is cooler than the colors I have...but, can we pull it together with the warmer palate that I have?
I love this kitchen...not that the one I have would ever look like this.
Here again is the same kitchen. No need for the decorative piece at the top of the countertop...tile all the way.
Here is another picture of a kitchen that I like. The tile makes the granite and backslash work as one element. Note the difference in color cabinets

Interesting how this tile comes together with the granite and the cabinets...might be too linear considering the wall paper...also it would have to be in a mat finish.
NO. Perhaps it's too flat...too many striations? I'm not a fan.
How would this tile work with cabinets and granite? It's transitional/edgy and the way it is installed is also more transitional. Could we find a color way that would work with the new cabinets and the granite?
I don't want this. Sometimes it's helpful to figure out what you don't want before you can figure out what you do want.
A possibility of the outcome...pretty ordinary and traditional...I'd like to see if we can come up with an alternative that will take it up a notch both design and transitionally.
Mat finish, singular color? I think it would be too dark with the light constraints in my space.

This is a pretty tile. I like the shape and the color way...if we could find a color way that mimicked the granite and was simpatico with both the cabinets it would be a safe way to go.
Note cooktop fan...proudly presented in the space! Looks very pretty against the tile.

Note balance between different color cabinets, etc. Back splash and granite are similar (but note, so are the lighter cabinets...perhaps we need to have the tile work with the granite and new cabinets????)

Dark cabinets and light cabinets with subway tile to coordinate with the granite, this is appealing. Tile blends with both the cabinets and the granite.

How do they do this installation? Do we choose a color and then put glass over the top? Maybe consider this and use the color of the new cabinets????
