“How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”

“Melanie designed my kitchen remodel. She patiently listened to my concerns and desires. Her first recommendation was to look at many kitchens on Houzz and add the ones I liked to an ideabook. This made it easy for me to see what style I wanted. Her design was wonderful. She opened up the space, and made the most of what we had. Melanie helped me with questions and problems throughout the remodel. Melanie made the process as smooth as possible. We love our new kitchen.”

The incredible transformation all came together in good time and within budget. Sandra helped us to focus our time, money and energy on the things that truly made a difference in getting our home market-ready and bringing in top dollar. Everyone who saw our home loved it!! We had several offers on our home before it even came on the market. We owe it all to Sandra!! As if that weren't enough, Sandra is the sweetest, most caring person whom we could have ever asked for. “All of the work done by Peninsula Modern is clean, contemporary and uniquely designed. Every detail is examined and household decisions (such as using a cupboard used exclusively for coffee or what to do with extra space over a garage) are cleverly solved. I have worked with Tiffiny on a few projects and she is easy going and decisive, and the team she works with is the best at what they do. I would highly recommend Peninsula Modern.”

“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“My entire experience with Monica was great. She was organized, talented (she has an amazing eye), timely, priced very fairly, and most of all, she really listened to my ideas and helped me to figure out my "vision" for decorating my house. She had so many great ideas to offer. Normally I would not take the time to write a review of someone but I was just so impressed with Monica that I wanted to do so.”
