“Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York”

“We hired Victoria after meeting her at an event - after showing her our new office space and our simple, one-word brief of "jungle", she sprung into action contacting joiners, painters, upholsterers and furniture companies on our behalf. After presenting ideas to us: full with moodboards, visuals and costings, we approved the project and it quickly came together; admittedly had contacted her rather late considering the looming project deadline we'd set!! Staff and clients love the space that Vic designed for us - it's unlike what they've seen before in an office around here. Things we'd never thought about were considered: making use of building quirks to our full advantage: no corner was forgotten about! I'd highly recommend working with Vic on upcoming commercial/residential projects! Looking forward to my next home - it's going to look great! ☺”

““I am delighted by the very personal and creative approach I received from Carnill and Company. I recently visited Richard’s shop in Southwell - a treasure trove of delights! I was in need of plantation shutters and Richard offers a great selection which he organised faultlessly. The measuring and fitting was most efficient and I am delighted with the finished product. Richard has a natural flair for design and seems to have an instinct for how to make a space work. He has a great eye for colour and texture and comes up with fresh new ideas and approaches to make a room look really special. He has a great team who support him brilliantly with creative energy and a pragmatic approach.””

“We carried out a substantial renovation and extension of our Lincolnshire home and Clive came recommended by the builders (which in itself was unusual and a measure of his standing). We were nervous about using an interior designer, having never worked with one previously, and initially asked Clive for help with curtains and soft furnishings. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and professionalism quickly made us forget any prior uncertainty as he embraced our desire to retain control of the creative/buying process but helped to make the project rewarding rather than stressful. Choosing fabrics, furniture and accessories with Clive's considered guidance on colour combinations and style made the process a pleasure and we remain thrilled, five years later, with the result. With Clive's help we created a family friendly but stylish environment, inside and out, with lasting appeal. He is a gentleman, he is fair and he is skilful. I would not hesitate to recommend Clive (and have done so on several occasions) to anyone wanting to update their interior/exterior living space or engage a knowledgeable and trustworthy advisor on any new project. “Lee-Ann has been amazing! Originally we commissioned her for the interior design of our brand-new 3-bedroom house, but very quickly we agreed to expand her role to be our overall project manager and client representative with the developer. Very skilled, knowledgeable and capable lady, who has really pushed our developer to deliver to the highest possible standards (spotting things we would have never noticed!). Her design work was fantastic too, taking time to get to know our whole family and coming back with options that reflected our tastes and personality (and budget!) - she was happy to run through many iterations to ensure it was just right, but at the same time gently encouraging us to try new ideas / colours that we wouldn't normally have gone for. The final presentation of mood boards for each room included real samples of all fabrics, wallpapers and wood finishes. She took care of the ordering and installation, and we are delighted with how our new home turned out. Thank you Lee-Anne, we recommend you wholeheartedly...”
