After Photo - Luxurious Drapes and Sweeping Relaxed Roman Shades
The issue we had was that the front wall of the bedroom needed a 20' pole with drapes that split in the middle and could be whisked open or closed as needed. A 20' pole? How do you ship that, and how do you support it? We chose a solid wood, 2.5" diameter pole that came in two 10' pieces. The two poles were fastened together with a special screw and the butted ends were supported by a single center support. The thickness of the pole insured against sagging and a silicone spray rubbed along the top of the pole ensured smooth sailing when operating the drapes.
