Bespoke TV display unit in Cobham, Surrey
This luxury bespoke TV display unit was custom-made by Acorn for our clients in Cobham, Surrey. They wanted to combine exceptional functionality in a low profile, yet impressive statement piece. The resulting built-in media cabinet creates the perfect entertainment setup while adding storage and shelving with a sophisticated modernity to suit our clients’ interior décor style.
The television is surrounded by open shelving, including the space above the screen which can often be under-utilised. The made to measure shelving has a well-balanced, pleasing layout with our clients’ favourite items on display.
Slimline breakfront TV media unit
Our clients wanted a slimline TV unit that did not project too far into the room of their home in Surrey. The perfect solution was a breakfront design. This is where the central section extends forward from those at either side and becomes the main focal point of the unit. The breakfront also creates an illusion of depth and spaciousness while allowing for useful deeper storage.
Bespoke quartz countertop
The quartz countertop has a dark natural stone aesthetic which works beautifully with the rest of the bespoke media unit. Seamlessly crafted, the countertop in Classic Quartz Nocturne 5502 follows the curved profile of the cabinets below.
Bespoke reeded panelled doors
This customised TV media centre also features reeded or ribbed vertical panels for the handle-free doors and curved fronts. The reeded design gives the unit added aesthetic appeal and interest.
Painted finish in timeless grey
The fitted TV and media unit has been spray finished in Farrow and Ball’s Railings, a deep charcoal grey, almost black in tone. This chic shade is an up to date neutral and perfect for achieving the high-end look our clients wanted. Custom-made furniture created by Acorn can be expertly hand or spray in any paint colour and sheen finish, from matte to high gloss.
Luxurious Italian-designed XyloCleaf veneered back boards have been used in the upper section; and together with the bespoke integrated display LED lighting, the effect is visually stunning. You can view more of our tailored lighting designs here.
