Classic Contemporary
This contemporary home was designed around the extensive art collection of the client. Since I have an Art Gallery, the client and I were a perfect fit. As the home was built, wall spaces were planned with particular pieces of art in mind. Simple clean lines in a neutral palette of black and cream set the backdrop for much of the colorful collection of paintings. The award winning cornices in the great room were detailed with a collection of artifacts. The master bedroom was completely custom designed to specification with bench made furniture and hand stenciled art deco details above the drapery. The sensuous powder room was inspired by the lithograph on the wall. The artful outcome of this fusion of art and design was a truly original haven for the client and their much loved collection of art.
