English style living room.
The client requested an English style living room which thrilled me being from England! I used the clients existing furniture and re-upholstered all pieces. Increasing the existing base board with molding gave traditional and cost cutting design as well as a custom crown. The walls where wallpapered in a soft color strie and perimeter lighting was added to the ceiling. The drapes are Colefax and Fowler chintz which i interlined to give a rolled softness, i added a custom style to the footstools with a striped velvet. The number of fabrics play off each other well, the client had the lamps and did not want to have to buy new, the mirror we chose balances these large lamps and the client loves the end result!
