This family home is situated in Bootes Str, with spectacular views across Pretoria. Designed for a young family with open-minded ideas about design, this radically remodeled renovation was designed to provide privacy and security from the street side and open out to the views on the northern side. The ground floor living and entertainment area layouts were completely transformed and a second floor added to house the bedrooms. Through the use of suitable natural, honest materials such as red brick, screed, wood and I-beams, this house creates an exciting, understated alternative to the usual ostentatious residential architecture of this neighborhood.
