The entire facade was redesigned maintaining the original character of the gambrel roof and bay window. The architect created the unique frieze design flanked by brackets. New windows were added to the third floor. Raising the house and increasing the headroom of the ground floor enabled the garage and driveway to be flipped to the opposite side of the stair, which allowed a more practical width for parking and passengers.
