The garden boasts four raised beds that are carefully crafted from oak, providing a sturdy and durable setting for vegetables to grow. A quaint potting shed is also present, offering a cosy space for the garden enthusiast to store their tools and equipment. The beautiful espalier fruit trees add to the charm of the garden, while the hazel arches create a picturesque view that is sure to captivate anyone's attention. The tongue and groove fencing that encloses the garden provides a safe and secure environment for the plants to thrive.

Dee McQuillan, Ivy & Bloom A large terrace was created flowing out from the main living area with a custom built gas fireplace being the central feature. The large concrete pavers were jointed with mondo grass to provide a permeable surface and will help to soften the appearance of the terrace once they mature. A formal hedge of alder trees will provide a leafy backdrop to the garden and the fireplace. The level changes on the site allowed for a separate raised seating area to be created above the main terrace using recycled holland pavers. Another informal seating area, using peastone, was created below the terrace and borders a small productive garden and utility area. The two seating areas benefit from the shade from the mature macadamia tree (existing). The masonry wall and fireplace will be painted to match the house and the wall will be softened by plantings of dichondra 'silver falls'. Planting bays were created within (and slightly below) the terrace with bullnose pavers to soften the edge and give it a floating effect. Two feature trees, Pyrus Calleryana "Bradford" (Ornamental pear) will provide shade in summer, stunning autumn foliage and blossoms in spring. These are underplanted with pittosporum "elfin" balls and white agapanthus. The driveway extension was removed to allow for a larger lawn space. A large planting bed was created for the existing mature macadamia tree on the lawn edge. Planting under both macadamia trees included oak leaf hydrangeas, snowball and annabelle hydrangeas, burgundy and silver heucheras and white agapanthus. A stepping stone path follows the contour of the house to provide access to the driveway and will largely disappear once the dietes grandiflora mature.

Se ha creado un área de disfrute y solárium con piscina rodeada de césped artificial. Con el fin de establecer una clara separación visual entre ambos espacios, se ha implementado un efecto de zigzag en el pavimento que suaviza la impresión rectangular de los entornos y, además, añade un toque dinámico y estético.

This full garden overhaul was a huge transformation. Everything was removed bar a handful of mature plants. The complex water feature and terraced planting area adds a huge focal point to a busy yet flowing garden design. The addition of the in ground trampoline (from Capital Play) was discrete way of including the children in the overall build. Huge thanks to Ben for having me transform this space to a true haven in a busy town centre.

On the east facing side of the garden, an abundant display of woodland planting thrives in the shade beneath a series of five tall cylindrical Italian terracotta pots which add formality along the brick path leading towards the Summerhouse. "Balls" of Skimmia Japonica add structure and winter colour to each pot, whilst below at ground level, evergreen Ferns, Hellebores and Snowdrops (Galanthus) do their magic. Mounds of Soleirolia (Mind-your-own-business); a vigorous creeping groundcover, softens the hard lines of the brick path by spilling over and blurring the edges...finding it's way into cracks within the brick paving. This is the finished courtyard taken through the window of our green oak extension. The parterre/knot garden is very simple & pleached hornbeam trees give added privacy from the neighbouring property
