Ibland sägs det att det är utsidan som ger insidan en chans, och vad man än tycker om det uttrycket, så stämmer det på sätt och vis, i alla fall när det kommer till ett exotisk hus eller en lägenhet. Fasaden är trots allt det första som man ser, och den ger på många sätt en inblick i vad som kan finns inuti bostaden också. När det kommer till villor och lägenheter, så kan nog de allra flesta av oss hålla med om att det också stämmer. Ett hus med en riktigt snygg tropisk fasad gör oss nyfikna på innehållet, och ärligt talat så är det sällan som man blir besviken på hur det ser ut när man kommer in i det. Och vem vill inte bo i ett sådant exotiskt hus egentligen?

Hur mycket underhåll behöver en exotisk fasad?

För att fasaden på ens kolonialstil hus ska se bra ut år efter år så behöver man såklart ta hand om den. Lite beroende på vilket material man har på sin exotiska bostad, och om det är ett fritidshus, ett radhus eller en stuga så behöver man underhålla den mer eller mindre. Ett bostadshus som man bor i permanent vill man kanske ta hand om lite mer än ett timmerhus som står på samma tomt som ens sommarställe, om man säger så. Men en konkret sak kan vi i alla fall komma fram till, och det är att en putsad kolonialstil fasad behöver mindre innehåll än en målad träfasad. Lite beroende på vilken färg man väljer så kan man behöva måla om ganska ofta, och det ska man vara medveten om när man bygger sitt egna arkitektritade exotiska hus. I slutändan är dock det viktigaste att alltid välja det material som känns rätt!

Stenhus eller träfasad?

Att välja material på huset är inte alltid det lättaste, det finns ju så himla mycket att välja bland! För inte bara är fasaden något som ska smycka huset, den finns först och främst till för att skydda mot väder och vind. Så vilken ytterpanel ska man då egentligen satsa på? Det beror dels på om det är en herrgård eller sommarstuga som man ska bygga, och dels vad man faktiskt tycker är snyggt. Det är nämligen så att nästan alla husfasader faktiskt fyller sin funktion, så beroende på om man vill bygga ett trähus eller en villa i sten, så väljer man fasadpanel efter det. Sen finns det även de tillfällen då man flyttar in i till exempel ett radhus och inte direkt kan göra något åt fasaden på det stora hela, men en väl underhållen tropisk fasad är alltid en bra fasad.
