Radiator covers are both a nice way to discretely hide unattractive radiators, as well as providing handy storage/surfaces, like this console table design. Twin brass lamps either side frame the map we hung on the wall.

Il mobile per il televisore, posto frontalmente al divano e vicino alla porta che conduce alla camera da letto, è stato integrato con la cucina, risultando quasi una sua prosecuzione grazie alla colonna a giorno che affianca la colonna frigo.

In a small corner of a very large open-space, a secondary and more welcoming sitting area invites us to relax and socialise without the distraction of a TV, which is in a different part of the room. Though this room is in the lower-ground level of the home, proximity to terrace doors leading outside as well as two roof lights directly above it, make this the brightest corner of the entire room.

Le jeu des couleurs et du papier peint permet de dynamiser les murs sans perdre en luminosité. L'entrée conçue comme une boite bleu profond (le plafond a été peint comme les murs) joue les prolongations sur le mur du fond pour créer un lien entre les différents espaces.

We sanded down the original hardwood floorboards throughout the property and added a lovely rich dark stain, making it both chic and cosy. The tongue and groove panelling really adds to the cosy cottage feel of the space. We replaced the fireplace hearth with warm limestone - both fresh and light. The furniture is mostly antiques. We opened up the wall between the living room and kitchen and created an archway with double pocket doors.

This tv room and library space is a cosy corner in this large thatched cottage. The butter soft leather sofas are teamed with an upholstered ottoman and comfortable armchair. All surrounding a log burner and brick fireplace. The curtains are in James Hare Silk fabric with Bradley Collection curtain poles. The painted cabinetry is bespoke, and contains a special area for log storage. The tv is placed on an extending bracket within the cabinetry within the recess by the fireplace for comfortable viewing. The oak flooring is covered by a traditional rug for a cosy feel. The cushions are covered in Emily Bond country motif fabrics of foxes and hares.
